I'm so excited today! I just found out that I won my first blog giveaway, over on Bloggery of a Goth Cat. The prize is a pinstripe skirt with a bustle. I've seen photos of her work on her site, and I’m really looking forward to seeing some of it in person!
I'm already getting into outfit post repeats. :) You've seen today's top before from one of my trips with Perseus to the vet specialist. Today I also wore it with pants, but tried to style it differently by dressing it up a bit. Rhinestones and silk scarves really do give things new life!
The necklace is a gift from my husband. Yes, he does love to buy me necklaces and I love him for it! This scarf is one of the Amazon finds I mentioned in a previous post. Today, someone at work called it a "Magic Ninja Scarf." Apparently it had something to do with my ability to ascend a concrete staircase relatively quietly. I'm still a little confused. ;)
Today's hair is just a simple, high bun with a gray hair flower. Buns are really the best I can do on most work days, as I have to be at work at 7:00 and usually I'm still in bed at 6:00!!

Unfortunately for me, having short hair, there is no "I don't have time to do my hair" hair-do that isn't a huge hair don't! You lucky long-hair-ers!
Piper, lol! I guess that's true; long hair seems like a lot of work but at least there are simple solutions like the bun. ;) However, I think your short hair is totally adorable on you!

Pigtails are my everyday lazy hair style. It's sad to think that if I had more time I would get so much more achieved.

Oh, and my lazyhair is usually out or in a bun. Sometimes, little low pigtails.
I've always wanted to include scarves in some outfits, but I have no idea how to do it. I'm actually about to do a blog post on hair-braiding. Braids can be pretty difficult and time-consuming the first couple of times you do them, but once you have enough practice, it takes about five or ten minutes to get a really nice, easy work hairstyle.
